the building is a separate structure from the main house, surrounded by well-manicured lawns and a swimming pool, making it ideal for spending a few quiet days. the hosts were gracious and welcoming, offering me a complimentary drink when I arrived. the breakfast, which was served in the lovely garden, was exceptional, and there was an option to have an evening meal that sounded quite impressive.
I did find that the walls in between the rooms were not soundproof, which could be problematic if you're a light sleeper.

The hotel was a great place to meet up with friends. We loved that the rooms were located in a separate building and the breakfast/lunch/dinner area was a beautiful and relaxing space across the lawn. the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even offering us a delicious home-brewed beer upon arrival. One of the best features of this hotel was the exceptional evening meal we enjoyed. It cost a bit more than usual, but it was well worth it for the personal chefs and private dining experience. the breakfasts were also delicious and plentiful.
The noise insulation in between rooms was not the best and the "saloon style" door on the toilets left little to the imagination. Guests should feel comfortable with their fellow travelers to avoid any awkwardness.

Stayed over New Year's Eve with friends and had a fantastic time. The rooms were located in an external building and we were able to get rooms next to each other. We were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink and even had the opportunity to taste some tasty home-brewed beer. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, even helping out when one of our cars had a flat tyre. The location was beautiful, set in lovely grounds, and there was even a pool which would be perfect for summer. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a great variety of options to choose from.
While we had a lovely stay, the sound insulation between the rooms could definitely be improved as we could hear our neighbours at times. the toilet doors were not full doors, but more like saloon style which could be uncomfortable if not staying with close friends.

We stayed here with friends and loved the luxurious experience. The rooms were beautifully designed and located in a separate building. The hosts were incredibly friendly and even offered us a welcome drink, including their homemade beer. The highlight of our stay was the amazing evening meal we booked. We had a private dining experience with personal chefs, and the food was absolutely exceptional. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. We would definitely love to return, especially in the summer to enjoy the pool in the garden.
The only slight downside was the noise insulation between rooms and the saloon-style toilet doors, which may not be ideal for those who prefer more privacy. However, despite these minor inconveniences, we highly recommend this place to others.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects were friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and beautiful garden with pool. The dinner was pricey but amazing; classic saloon-style toilet doors and not the best sound insulation between rooms.
There was nothing we didn't like.
